Consultant / Analyst

Washington DC Metro area

Job Description:

  • Perform quantitative analyses, prepare reports and deliver briefings to assist clients in meeting mission critical requirements.  Assignments typically include econometric modeling; parametric cost estimating; statistical cost estimating; requirements forecasting; financial modeling; operational analysis; and variance analysis.
  • Manage large data sets using both off-the-shelf software and client developed software solutions.  Tasks include data input and normalization as well as the development of complex queries and report writing.
  • Prepare written reports and graphical displays of data and results as well as oral presentation to TRG principals and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable requirements such as Federal Acquisition Regulations, United States Code, Office of Management and Budget circulars and contract clauses.
  • Participate in team and client meetings.
  • Develop and maintain effective work plans and milestones using off-the-shelf software.
  • Assist in preparing engagement, project, and program reporting as well as TRG internal financial processes.
  • Assist in developing technical and pricing proposals for new business development.
  • Participate in professional development activities through professional certifications, continuing professional education and active membership in professional organizations.

Requirements:

  • Candidates who are currently employed by a client of TRG or teaming partners under contract may not be eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
  • Positions are based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (Reston, VA) and require local residence.
  • Ability to travel to client sites for extended periods of time may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering or business with a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel

Cost Analyst (OCONUS)

Job Description:

Responsible for providing technical and financial support services to include: cost monitoring, cost report analysis, requirements analysis, creating independent life cycle cost estimates, risk/sensitivity analysis, annual budget inputs, variance reporting, and earned value management analysis. Responsible for developing cost estimation/analysis support throughout all phases of the acquisition process from RFP requirements gathering to contract closeout. This position will be located in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Requirements:

8 years minimum work experience in DoD Financial Management related positions such as Budgeting, and /or Cost Estimating.  Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in acquisition, engineering, operations research, business, finance, economics, accounting, management, or related field.  Must have modeling experience with Excel using probability analysis tools such as Crystal Ball.  Should have experience with estimating software tools such as PRICE, SEER, ACEIT, or other estimation software tools.  Master’s degree in finance, operations research, or business and a CCEA certification preferred.  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Acquisition, Engineering, Operations Research, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of Budgeting and/or Cost Estimating experience

Cost Analyst (CONUS)

Job Description:

Responsible for providing technical and financial support services to include: cost monitoring, cost report analysis, requirements analysis, creating independent cost estimates, annual budget inputs, and various general reporting and analysis.  Responsible for developing cost estimates/analysis support through throughout all phases of the acquisition process from RFP requirements gathering to contract closeout.  Will be providing acquisition life cycle support to Army programs.  This position will be located in Rock, Island, IL.

Requirements:

3 years minimum work experience in DoD Financial Management or Acquisition related positions such as Contracts Specialist, Budgeting, and/or Cost Estimating.  Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in acquisition, engineering, operations research, business, finance, economics, accounting, management, or related filed.  Must have experience with Excel.  Master’s degree in finance, operations research or business and CCEA certification preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Acquisition, Engineering, Operations Research, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management, or related field

Junior Cost Analyst

Job Description:

Responsible for providing technical and financial support services to include: cost monitoring, cost report analysis, requirements analysis, creating independent life cycle cost estimates, risk/sensitivity analysis, annual budget inputs, variance reporting, and earned value management analysis. Responsible for developing cost estimation/analysis support throughout all phases of the acquisition process from RFP requirements gathering to contract closeout.  Will be providing acquisition life cycle support to Air Force programs including planning, programming, budgeting, and cost/schedule risk analysis. This position will be located in Dayton, Ohio.

Requirements:

Logistics Management Specialist (OCONUS)

Job Description:

Works as a consulting team member on base closure program implementation, enhancement, integration or project audits.  Expertise and work efforts are focused on a strong understanding of logistics support operations to include transportation management, maintenance and supply operations, facility management, equipment readiness coordination, property accountability, and logistics planning management.   Must possess understanding of supply chain management processes and procedures.  Requires knowledge of quality assurance and quality control programs.  Familiarity with the Army decision making process.  Ability to perform root-cause analysis tools to identify defects and negative impact to customers.  Ability to analyze government requirements and  procedures with emphasis on analyzing, developing and implementing improved methodologies, best business practices , lessons learned, and procedures/processes and systems that will provide  beneficial recommendations to the government. Ability to provide analytical analysis of the data working with short suspense in a dynamic and fluid operating environment.  This position will be located in Afghanistan.

Requirements:

8 years minimum work experience in logistics or related field. Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Economics, Management or related field.  Must demonstrate a familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.  Must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks in direct support of Army logistics programs.

Job Description:

Requirements:

Senior Systems Engineer

Job Description:

This position is for a full-time Systems Engineer (SE) providing on-site Systems Engineering support to Air Force programs at WPAFB, OH. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; technical planning, requirements analysis and implementation. Must have experience with Monitoring/Creating Project Schedules and Risk Analysis/Reporting as well as Leading/Supporting Technical Reviews. Experience with documentation/Milestone Preparation as well as Strategic Planning is required.

The SE is responsible for integrating capability needs, design considerations, design constraints, and risk, as well as limitations imposed by technology, budget, and schedule throughout all phases of the acquisition process.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience leading technical teams from development through sustainment phases and experience with Manufacturing and Quality systems is needed.  The candidate must be experienced in acquisition of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Information Technology, Training Systems, or Airframes.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory, as well as the ability to brief senior customer/company leadership on project status. Must have experience with the Microsoft Office product suite to include PowerPoint, Excel, & Word. 

Qualifications:

  • Level II APDP Certification in Systems Engineering
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, math, computer science or related technical field 
  • 8+ years work experience in a DoD Systems Engineering related position
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or certified Systems Engineering Professional by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)
  • Program Management and/or Contracting Experience

Oil & Gas Project Manager - Arlington, VA

Job Description:

Responsible for managing projects with multiple time-critical deliverables in the petroleum industry.  Project Management experience with emphasis on process improvement.  Must have experience in large scale statistical surveys, energy market analysis, data integration and service and product dissemination

Must have demonstrated ability to effectively manage a diverse technical staff necessary to successfully accomplish projects of the scope and complexity.  Also, the ability to work effectively with the various participants, including Contracting Officers Rep, technical Mangers, contractors and subcontractor task managers and other staff.

Requirements:

5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry ideally in the petroleum industry, working with state and local government.  Must possess background in demonstrated analytical capability in oil and gas production, and reserve data programs in the energy industry.   Experience with project planning; budgeting and cost monitoring; quality surveillance and problem resolution; on schedule delivery of products and services and activity status reporting; as well as staff recruiting, hiring and staff development.  Must have experience transitioning a project to a new geographic location and experience planning knowledge transfer, when required, as well as, and maintaining the operation of the project during the transition period.

Qualifications:

  • 7 years Minimum work experience in Managing Projects with multiple time critical deliverables
  • 5 years in the oil and gas industry
  • 3 years+ experience of Project Management experience on Federal Contracts
  • Extensive experience with project planning, budgeting, cost monitoring, quality surveillance and problem resolution.
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Engineering, Economics, Math or related field.
  • US Citizen required

Job Description:

Responsible for large scale statistical surveys, energy market analysis, data integration and product dissemination.   Must have strong background in product resolution and on schedule delivery of products and services.

Requirements:

5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, ideally in the petroleum industry.  Must have demonstrated analytical capability in oil and gas production and reserve data programs in the energy industry.  Must be focused, organized and detailed-oriented with a strong ability to handle multiple tasks in an extremely fast paced environment. 

Qualifications:
